Monsters in the Closet is a tongue-in-cheek play on the monsters that every child fears lives within the darkness. Although there are monsters living inside the closet, they do not live in the shadows but rather are friendly looking creatures living in a world as bright as our own. The piece is meant to be touched by viewers, inviting them to engage physically with an imaginary world created inside of a closet.
