Through image and text, my work deals with ideas of womanhood - what it means to exist as a woman in the 21st century - as well as isolation and loneliness in a digital yet hyper-connected world. I have found solace in making work about isolation from the outside world.
Each print contains text addressing different junctures of womanhood and femininity. The pastel colors and vintage design intentionally contradict the confrontational messaging.
